Kappa Theta Epsilon to Celebrate First Year of Activation, Incorporation
Kappa Theta Epsilon Sorority is gearing up to celebrate a major Sorority milestone. On June 4th, 2016, the Sorority will celebrate its first year of activation. Less than two weeks later, they’ll mark the date of the organization’s incorporation.
Deemed “Sterling Day” by the Sorority’s Founder, the June 4th date is quite significant to its members. The date became integral to the sisterhood’s history, and part of the tapestry of its past.
According to one member, both days are nearly as important as February 24th, the Sorority’s founding day.
“Sterling Day and Incorporation are both vital parts of our sisterhood’s history and tradition. One marks the date on which our Founder made the commitment to serve both our sisters and the larger community. The other highlights her belief in our success, and dedication to ensuring the Sorority’s continued growth.”
As part of the celebration, Kappa’s Atlanta-based “Jewel of the South” Colony will be hosting a series of events, both public and private. The highlight of the festivities will take place June 25th at the Sorority’s Social ImpaKT Saturday program. Sorority sisters, supporters and friends will gather to assist Project Open Hand for the day, and follow that with a closed celebratory luncheon.
For more information on attending these activities, please contact the colony via email at jots(a)KappaThetaEpsilon[dot]com.
